How to get here
- By Car
From highway A4, once at the Venice Mestre toll booth, follow the signs for the Mestre station and leave your car in one of the area's parking lots. Take bus No. 2 which will bring you to Piazzale Roma, Venice's car terminal, in 10 minutes. Alternatively, follow the signs for Venice and once you arrive at Piazzale Roma, leave your car in one of the terminal's parking lots.
From Piazzale Roma take vaporetto 51 (leaves at 8/28/58 after the hour) and get off at the San Zaccaria stop (20 minutes), walk to the right, pass three bridges and take the first street on the left, Calle del Dose.
Alternatively, from Piazzale Roma, take vaporetto 41 (leaves at 18/38/58 after the hour), get off at the Arsenale stop and walk to the left. Cross a bridge and take the third street on your right, Calle del Dose.
- By Train
Once at Santa Lucia Station, take vaporettos 41 and 51 and follow the directions in the "By Car" section. - By Plane
From Venice's "Marco Polo" International Airport, you can take the Alilaguna boat ("red line", 55 minutes) directly to the Arsenale and San Zaccaria stops. Follow the directions described in the "By Car" section.
Location
The Cà del Dose inn is located in the old neighborhood of Castello, near the walkway on Riva degli Schiavoni which brings you to St. Mark, along the "Bacino" of the same name, one of the most extraordinary areas in Venice.

In the immediate vicinity of the square, the commercial artery known as the mercerie is the perfect opportunity for a unique and rewarding shopping experience, just before reaching the Rialto Bridge to admire its fascinating architecture and the colorful city market.
